    We were pleasantly surprised at what a gorgeous boat this was! It looked brand new. Rooms were Vietnamese style in decorations and just beautiful! We were in Vietnam for 11 days and the best food we had was on the Dragon Legend. Even my daughter who is a vegetarian loved the food. Great service as well. I would recommend, however, that you maybe have your facial done in one of the cities instead of the boat....they were a little inexperienced in how to do a facial. The one night on this boat was one of the highlights of this trip.

    We took the one night, two day tour on the Dragon Legend 2. Although the ride out and back from Hanoi was long(4 Hours each way)the cruise was well worth it. To Start with the van we were picked up in at our hotel was very clean and comfortable and even had Wi-Fi. The view of Halong Bay from the boat is like nothing we have ever seen.

    The boat itself is very nice, very comfortable and clean. The rooms are huge with good viewing out the floor to ceiling cabin window. The staff was excellent. Service was great. Food was great. We are very glad we took the cruise

    we took a 2 nights and 3 day trip. It was fantastic experience. we loved it.
    Rooms were clean, Beach Barbeque lunch was amazing. activities like Swimming and kayaking were great.

DAY 1: HON GAI HARBOR – BAI TU LONG BAY – VUNG DANG – CONG DAM – TRA SAN ( L, D)
 
07:40 – 08:00: Pick up at your hotel (near the Old Quarter in Hanoi) by Luxury van.
 
12:00 – 12:30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
 
12:30 – 13:00: Check-in. Cruise begins with welcome drink and safety briefing.
 
13:30 – 14:30: Set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room (depending on the weather) while cruising into magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating limestone karsts on the way.
 
15:00 – 17:00: Cruise to Vung Dang – Cong Dam area: Swim or relax on a white sandy beach; Go kayaking through the mystery Karst Mountains in Vung Dang area.
 
18:00 – 20:30: Return to Dragon Legend Cruise to refresh yourself in Mineral Seawater Pool, Fitness Room or the Spa and Massage Services before dinner.
 
20:30: Spend the rest of your evening relaxing, talking with the on board team, watching movies, listening to music… Overnight in Tra San area
 
DAY 2: TRA SAN – THIEN CANH SON CAVE – HON GAI HARBOR ( B, L)
 
06:30 – 07:00: Start a new day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun-deck.
 
07:00 – 07:30: Take in the morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy breakfast in the fresh air.
 
7:30 – 09:45: Cruise to Cong Do area to explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
 
10:00: Check out your cabin.
 
10:45 – 11:30: Enjoy a Buffet while cruising towards the harbor.
 
11:30 – 12:00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions.
 
13:30 – 14:00: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.
 
17:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

Yen Duc is a beautiful Vietnamese village on the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi, which can provide many cultural experience and Vietnamese local life in rural area. Within 5 hours tour in this village, you can get a glimpse of village life and delicious Vietnamese cooking dinner.
 
The tour has included shuttle bus transfer with cruise, dinner in village, farming activities, water puppet show and English speaking tour guide during 5 hour tour in village.

12:00: Disembark from cruise at Hon Gai harbor and transfer to Yen Duc village.
 
13.30: Arrive in Yen Duc village, enjoy a water puppet show which performed by local artists. Cycling around the village to visit the culture house of village then a local house in the village for a warm talking with the host. Experience the farming activities such as: harvesting and planting vegetables, fishing with the traditional basket, milling and pounding rice…
 
17.15: Relax in the fresh air and enjoy homemade Vietnamese cooking dinner.
 
18.50: Fare well and return to Hanoi

      Travelled with Starlight Cruise for 2D1N, and it was simply amazing. The facilities on board are fantastic, such as a jacuzzi in each of the rooms. The food served was of good quality, as were the cocktails during happy hour!

      Our tour guide, Mr Lang, was friendly and extremely helpful. His command of English is great, and he accompanied us when we did our kayaking around the bay.

      Overall, it was such a fantastic experience, we can't wait to go again!

      Mr. Tommy (Duong Van Tung) and his team took great care of us and really allowed us to enjoy beautiful Ha Long Bay! The rooms were beautiful and the views were incredible, along with awesome staff! We did the 2 days 1 night but wish we had stayed for longer! Thank you Tommy and the Starlight team for an awesome cruise!

      Excellent room and cruise. Meals were of a high quality and drinks were very reasonably priced. Rained on the second day but didn't detract from the fantastic scenery and experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend Starlight cruises to anyone

      The room is nice. Got jacuzzi and the ambient is romantic.

      The food is nice. We were surprise with the food presentation also.

      And the staffs are very helpful and friendly. The tour guide, Tuan aka Tony, is very thoughtful. When it is time for the next activity but he didn't see us around, he would call our room phone personally to remind us.

      They also send us a freshly made local delicacy as a token of appreciation all the way to our hotel before we go on board to our morning flight.

      If got chance to go Halong Bay again, sure go for this. Hopefully the same crew still around.

      Now i miss the scenery and the crew so much!
