We will pick you up from your hostel or hotel in the Old Quarter at 6 - 6.30am and go to our much quieter start point by taxi. There we will go over our ‘Rules Of The Road Policy’, pad up and check that everybody is comfortable and confident with their bike before starting the ride to Ba Be Lake. We’ll take plenty of stops along the way to get everyone used to riding long distances in Vietnam. We take the roads less travelled to get to our traditional stilt house homestay that overlooks Ba Be Lake. There we will have an authentic vietnamese dinner with our host family.

 

We will start the day early by loading our bikes onto a boat for a once in a lifetime boat ride across Ba Be Lake. On the boat we will enjoy a tasty breakfast, as well as the beautiful scenery and fresh morning air. Today we’ll ride through quaint villages and meet friendly locals as we make our way towards the small town of Meo Vac. We will stay in a local homestay in a small village near Meo Vac town. This village is so off the beaten track that you can’t even find it on a map, which makes it one of the most authentic accommodations you can imagine.

 

After 2 early mornings you can sleep in and relax. We take our time as we ride the awe-inspiring route to Dong Van town. We will take plenty of breaks to make sure you have enough time to take in the incredible scenery. The mountain views in this area are something you will never forget. Once in Dong Van we will explore the old town and learn something about its history. After exploring we ride on to the most northern point of Vietnam to spend a night in a nearby village.

 

After our village homestay we have a full day of riding to get to Ha Giang city. This route has some of the best views in Vietnam so make sure your camera is ready for that perfect shot. We’ll arrive in Ha Giang city in the late afternoon where we will have a shower before a nice dinner. After dinner we will get on the nightbus back to Hanoi around 8 p.m.
